The training program at Trowbridges, Ltd. is headed by Mary Trowbridge, a career horsewoman for over twenty-five years, and Lindsey Knight, an accomplished and seasoned horsewoman who brings a graduate degree in psychology along with an innate horse-training talent that she has honed since childhood. Erin Edwards assists Lindsey and Mary in the training operation as well as managing the office and participating with client needs, and is an integral part of the Trowbridges, Ltd. lesson program, as well.  

Our focus at Trowbridges, Ltd. is on facilitating amateur and junior riders to enjoy learning and succeeding with their horses, and to make the process fun and interactive for the entire family.  Besides a focused and well thought out training plan for each horse, we develop an equally detailed plan for riders to hone their equestrian skills, as well as generating monthly, yearly, and long term goal planning for both horse and rider, with attention to every detail.  Add to that our entire staff’s commitment towards making your horse owning and showing experience an exciting and fun filled event, consistent attention to the health and training of each horse, and a barn full of like-minded clients all dedicated to supporting each other makes Trowbridges, Ltd. an unparalleled experience not to be missed.

Trowbridges, Ltd. riders have won scores of awards in Class A, Regional, and National competition, and horses shown by Trowbridge’s are known and recognized for their consistency in both style and winning within the open divisions as well.  We enjoy starting with riders from scratch as well as helping seasoned equestrians perfect their skills, and also offer lessons and riding situations for those who might not be focused yet on competition.  Besides an exceptional training facility, the farm is located in the middle of a vast trail system just minutes from the property, and many of the show horses get to spend time out on the trails interspersed with their training regimens.
