Burning Springs
MBF Burning Springs
(Bask Afire x Mahalin)
2011 US National Reserve Champion Open Country English Pleasure
Beauty, Brains, Athleticism, and Siring Ability
MBF Burning Springs, bred and owned by Matilda Bay Farm, is one of Bask Afire's most impressive foals. This outstanding black bay stallion is out of an El Ghazi daughter who is out of FF Spring Sonnet, a Reserve National Champion English Pleasure horse sired by Wisdom.
Shown limitedly as a five year old, Burning Springs was named Champion Purebred Country Pleasure Junior Horse at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, and U.S. National Champion Top Ten Junior Country Pleasure Horse this year. After a year's hiatus in the breeding shed, Burning Springs is returning to competition this year with his amateur owner/breed Susan Bailey Schramm in the irons.
Burning Springs not only displays the outstanding athletic ability that his pedigree entails, but a fantasticly kind and trainable disposition that is passed along consistently to his foals. Kind, trainable, and beautiful, this young stallion is just beginning to make his mark as a sire and as a show horse, and is proving to be a consistent producer in both venues. His foals to date all share tremendous quality, great athleticism, and their sire's fantastic disposition.
