Michelle Lomba joined the Trowbridge team full time in January, 2010, after having worked part time for the farm for several years while she attended Tekiyo Post University's excellent Equine Management course to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree.  During that time, she also spent a semester in England under the tutelage of British Olympian Jane Bartle Wilson and German Olympic Coach Christopher Bartle at their Yorkshire Riding Center, where she honed her skills in both management and teaching.

Today at Trowbridge's, Michele's myriad of duties include office assistant to Pat and Mary, Barn Manager, and Instructor and Camp Director for the multiple summer camps that we host each year.  An outgoing and enthustiastic instructor, Miss Michelle is truly our Pied Piper for our younger riders, and is responsible for introducing them and instructing on our double saddle, with the patient help of her assistant, Tiptop.

Michelle's energy at overseeing and interacting in a myriad of ways throughout the day are part of the core that keeps the farm running smoothly on many different fronts. Besides the managerial and instruction phases, she also assists Lindsey and Mary in managing the show horses, as well as keeping the lesson horses working smoothly and correctly for our many riding students.  And she gives a great farm tour--if you haven't enjoyed one yet, call 860-354-8926 for Michele today to set one up!
